Dear Friends,

I am delighted to share a link to four intuitive, nature inspired tracks I’ve worked on in my capacaity as Sera Fay, collaboratively with Freond, to record and release to Bandcamp. These lyrics and vocals came through me, with the waters, each with it’s own story. Indigo Waters came after I was called to walk into the ocean off the coast of Ceredigion, to be joined by a wild seal; when I returned to the sand, the song was within. Calling Back the Fae was inspired by Freond’s composition; I listened to it and saw blue wings flying over the sea – and in the studio, recorded the wordless song woven into it from the feelings of freedom in faedom the music had invoked. Remembering Lemuria came intuitively, after tuning into the concept and energies of Lemuria for months, Freond was inspired to create a drone-like ambient piece for me to sing over – lyrics and melodies came through instantly, in the studio, in the moment. Iara’s Dream was our final recording and altogether different – light language lyrics and melodies were coming through constantly in the weeks prior to recording, particularly the words ‘Iara Takanai’ which feature prominently in the track. The deep feelings around this track are reflected in raw vocals and the basey tones of my moon drum – in this there were collective feminine wisdom and wounds being remembered, rising from the seabed, and being released with renewed resolve.

My holistic practice as a Reiki Master-Teacher, or Mystic-Teacher as I prefer to refer to it, has also lovingly started to weave and entwine with my drum art; I have realised over the last year in collaboration with my clients and buyers, that my drum paintings, in ceremony, are also acting as Reiki Empowerments – initiating, awakening and visualising what needs to be remembered and carried, as animal spirits, symbols, bindrunes and abstract imagery. We are holding and guiding a free-flow journey of song, sound and dance, to weave our kindred dreams with the forest and collective intention for a compassionate new earth, for all of our relations and the whole web of life.

Symbolic Sequences with the Spinning Wheel – seasonal and by request

This year I’ve held some workshops working with the wheel of the year and the spiral, as reflective, symbolic walking sequences. These are intuitively channelled offerings emerging from my inner work with the inspirations of Cerridwen, Isis, Hecate, Ariadne and Arianrhod. There is a foundational ‘unlocking’ sequence, followed by a seasonal sequence, orientated with the directions, flowing with the phases of cycles, and of life, and held in the spirit of loving nature. I am pleased to share that I have taken on a new role at Elephant Rooms. As Spiritual Curator I am combining spiritual listening with soul aligned service to the centre which means so much to me and to many, it is a place of sanctuary, inclusive spirituality, a safety net, social network and support. It’s such an honour to be part of the team, to care and co-create.

All proceeds from this weekend will go to elephant rooms concessions and community services to support those in need locally, and the heart of living yoga’s international charity work.

Dear Souls,

Hi there, it’s been a while, I last wrote to you in August, basking in the sweetness of summer and preparing for the slowing of autumn, and what a sigh of relief it was, to let go and make space anew.

From this space much has been emerging in the way of insights, inspiration and dreams of what is to come.

I have now stepped all in to service to new earth and community; opening channels and freeing the flow to follow my heart-mind and soul into expanding and deepening into what arises. Currently, this is a mixture of Reiki, natural song, music, writing and creativity; with nature, always with nature.

I have been on some profound journeys of immersion into community song and sound, and it has been a joy to share the resulting learnings locally through Belper Earth Connection Group’s Earth Songs (every second Thursday of the month at Sage Yoga Studio, Belper) and the newly formed Earth Spirit Jam (every last Thursday of the month at Strutts Community Centre 6pm – 7.15pm).

It has also been wonderful to share devotional song at the Elephant Rooms open evening recently, I was grateful for the chance to sound out some of the many songs and words that are coming through with a distinct feeling that they are not from me alone; they come from nature – sometimes the river, sometimes the robin, sometimes a divine radiance which is apart and yet a part of all, for all.

I am the most grateful for a significant shift and opening which has occurred this season; suddenly I felt overwhelmingly assured that I have all that I need, in a song and a prayer. I feel a renewed embodiment of the enduring unity of all love and a remembrance of the potential in all that is, to become love, with peace, grace and truth.

In this energy I have been reflecting and communing deeply with nature, inspired particularly by the stones and the rivers, stillness and motion, spirals and currents. This led to a series of quietly, deeply fulfilling Nature Contemplation sessions at Sage Yoga Studio; we explored intuitive movement, stillness, journaling, spontaneous utterance and a solstice Reiki-Sound journey.

Welcome 2025! A 9 year (2+2+5) and whilst there is a theme of completion in the numerology of 9, the astrological alignments and significance of the coming seasons speak to me of showtime energy; there is a sense that the lessons have been learned, integrated, and now it’s time to act. Togetherness is another word coming through for me, being together, with nature, as nature.

I am delighted to announce a retreat day which I’ll be hosting alongside two other wonderfully and wildly creative women on Sunday 2nd March 11am – 4pm, in the magical and ancient Shining Cliff Woods. Check out Retreats for more details of ‘Weaving Our Wild Ways’; we are offering a pre-selected investment of £33-£66 for this day of natural co-creation. I’ll be sharing Heart to Hear circle singing with nature at this event.

I’m holding more Reiki courses this year: Reiki I (Sat 22nd March & Sun 29th June) & Reiki II (5th & 6th July) trainings at Elephant Rooms, and some upcoming dates in Belper for Reiki II in February-March, and by arrangement.

Reiki shares at Elephant Rooms continue every 4th Tuesday of the month from January; we welcome Reiki I+ practitioners to join our sharing community.

Joyfully, we had a full house to open the year at Elephant Rooms with the first meditation, mindfulness & more session. We went deep into midwinter dreams, gently awakening and emerging with the return of the light and the softly shifting season. These sessions run every first Friday of the month 7pm – 8.30pm by donation and are offered by members of the Elephant Rooms community of therapists and facilitators.

As we continue through the cold season, remember that rest is necessary, natural and deeply valuable. Rest re-assures results. Rest is a deepening and shift of focus; when the trees rest they focus within and below – they nurture and nourish the core, the roots, the networks which enable; they strengthen their foundations. And in rooted re-assurance they dream, they dream deeply in a way which draws the richest potential to rise into the current. This is how to rest productively, creatively, as nature does.

And so I’ll leave you with a Reiki affirmation which has formed part of my ever evolving practice and teachings recently…

Wow, this summer has been intense, for anyone sensitive to energy you may have noticed that solar activity and earth resonance has been off the charts this year. This has felt challenging at times, but I have viewed it as a friendly challenge, a nudge towards better energetic hygiene and habits. We are in the spotlight now, there is no hiding, for those on a spiritual awakening, expansion or path of service. More regular grounding, clearing, protection, transmuting, and tuning in – in all the best ways, has been called for, as we navigate these new vibrations, ensuring that, as channels, we are ready to receive at a faster rate, and to know and trust when to rest and integrate.

Summer has historically been the most challenging season for me, but this year I felt able to fully embrace the growth, the beautiful fullness, magic and gifts of nature in full bloom, and I’m truly grateful for this. In fully receiving the Sun I have felt a joyful explosion of divine union and Christ consciousness, which shines out through my energy and offerings. I particularly enjoyed making a solstice flower essence with the Persian yellow and wild white roses in my garden, and offering this to friends as part of a Mystic Rose Ceremony.

This season has seen some big changes for me too; like many I have felt it is time to let go of the old to make way for the new, for the unknown to come through. I have stepped back from my service in strategic nature recovery to fully focus on a spirit-led life. As part of this I am currently bringing forward a nature-based spirituality charity, researching towards the revival of our springs and wells locally, and upgrading my offerings. I now offer one face-to-face option – a mystic holistic treatment, and one online option – a mystic transmission. I’m writing this within the Lionsgate portal, beyond the peak numerologically powerful date of 8/8. This year was particularly powerful from this point of view, because 2024 is also an 8 year, creating the vibration of 8/8/8. Did you feel the power of it? Over these weeks there is a clear channel between Earth and Sirius, aligned with Orion, in the sign of Leo. Sirius is known as the spiritual sun, and the union of Sirius and Orion is significant for unity consciousness and spiritual insight. This one felt heavy for many; deep shadows surfacing or resurfacing to be resolved, collective trauma and division rising to be healed. The intense light we received, both from our sun, and from the stellar suns, in advance of 8/8/8 prepared us for this deep transmutation and transmutation. If you are still feeling this, try the Reiki Moving Meditations on my social media pages; visualise anchoring the incoming solar and stellar energy into your body and releasing to the earth; and focus on strong affirmations around the future you want to see and be.

Now, the seeds of new light have been received, consciously or subconsciously, and we will hold them in the stillness of the autumn and winter, until the spring returns.

And so, with Lammas passing, the wheel turns, and I feel the summer giving it’s outpourings of fruitfulness. I’m thankful for the apples on the trees, the flowers in the garden and the warmth of the air and the land, and I ready myself for that sigh of relief which comes with the autumn breeze, and the cooler, quieter days to come. Ahhh…
